Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capability is crucial. Unified Vision 2014 (UV14) is the biggest Joint ISR trial NATO has ever staged, with a multitude of ground sensors, surveillance balloons, jammer aircraft and land ISR assets deployed during this trial. It is taking place from 18 to 28 May and aims to test NATO's ability to gather and fuse intelligence from multiple sources from satellites to unarmed aircraft to ground sensors at different stages of a crisis.
